Are you a college student looking for an opportunity to receive school credit thru an internship? The Bulls/Sox Academy offers internships for the following majors: Sports Marketing, Marketing, Sport or Business Management, Recreation Sports and Tourism. We are currently accepting applications for internships for the Summer session, which will run May 14-August 24th, 2018. The Bulls/ Sox Academy in Lisle has staffing both at the main Front Desk, and the Scheduling Desk located on the baseball turf. Duties may include, but are not limited to: customer service, answering phone calls, booking customers for appointments /camps, selling concession items, cleaning and organizing the desk areas, maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the baseball turf, opening and closing responsibilities , and payment handling. The Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle has a part-time maintenance staff responsible for the upkeep of the Academy during business hours, as well as cleaning the basketball courts, baseball turf and other projects during non-business hours. Duties may include, but are not limited to: janitorial duties (cleaning bathrooms, locker rooms, office areas, removing garbage), making small repairs around the Academy, cleaning the basketball courts using a 50lb. bar, cleaning the baseball turf using large area vacuum and carpet extractor, cleaning the turf barricades, and other small projects (painting, repairing holes, etc.). Chicago Bulls Basketball Instructors | Part-Time
The Bulls/Sox Academy is seeking qualified, energetic, and knowledgeable basketball coaches for our 2017 Chicago Bulls Summer Camps. We host summer basketball camps in over 60 communities for ages 5-17 with an emphasis on teaching the fundamentals of the game. Candidates must have prior basketball experience (playing and/or coaching), be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of the game of basketball and its rules, and enjoying working with young athletes of all ages. This is a part time position with 0-30 hours per week depending on amount and size of camps on a weekly basis. Working at the Bulls/Sox Academy in Lisle, you will be responsible for maintenance projects and assisting with the upkeep of the facility. Maintenance duties are completed on an as-needed basis, and are completed during weekdays and weekends, depending on necessity of repairs. Maintenance projects are completed during hours of operation or when facility is closed, depending on project size/requirements. Job entails repairing Iron Mike baseball machines, ATEC fastpitch machines, light/ballast replacement, facility troubleshooting, wall/painting repairs, and other repairs as needed.
